Grief is a journey. 
Where the journey ends is up to you…

I’ve come to believe grief is a lifelong journey…it is how you handle your grief that matters.  After the loss of one of my infant twin daughters in 2005, I thought all hope for a good life was gone.  But eventually I grew weary from living in a constant state of hopelessness and decided to turn back to my Christian faith.  The bible says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9).”  Though I could not see how God’s promises would come to fruition in my life after my daughter’s death, I made the choice to trust in Him because I felt I had nothing else on which to go.

Turning to my faith gave me the hope I needed to cope with my daughter’s death.  Learning to believe and trust in the sovereignty of God's plans for my life has delivered me to a place of peace.  It is my utmost desire to help others through the journey of grief, as well as to encourage others to strengthen their walk of faith so that they may withstand even life’s toughest storms.  I hope you will read A Place of Peace and be inspired to reclaim the extraordinary life God has prepared for you.
